Albers Bookshelf by Ameico. Incredibly, this bookcase dates from 1923. Albers was commissioned by Walter Gropius to furnish the waiting room of his new architectural practice. By invisibly intersecting perfectly proportioned boards in a divided square, the dark horizontal elements appear to float in front of the lighter verticals. Albers Bookshelf by Ameico are designed by Josef Albers.
