Swiss Chronoscope movement. Automatic mechanical movement j880.2 with display for date, chronoscope with second stop, 25 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour, incabloc shock-absorber.
Max Bill was a pupil of Walter Gropius and kindred spirit of Le Corbusier and Mies van der Rohe —was a virtuoso designer and creative artist, as his diverse activities as a painter, architect, sculptor, teacher and designer amply demonstrate.
The simplicity and proportionality of the Max Bill Chronoscope design reflects the "Bauhaus" design sensibility of Max Bill, as well as the precision watchmaking of Junghans.
