Sintesi is built around the idea of a modular system, where simple, curved metal profiles make it possible to adjust the direction and height of the lamp with an elegant movement. Founded in Milan in 1959, Artemide is the definitive Italian lighting brand — the company behind some of the most iconic lamps ever made. The Tizio (Richard Sapper, 1972) conducts electricity through its counterbalanced arm, eliminating visible cables entirely. The Tolomeo (Michele De Lucchi, 1987) adjusts to any angle with one hand and never dates.
