& Returns

We try to process all orders within a few business days. All orders ship via UPS Ground or USPS. Some products ship directly from the manufacturer to cut down on shipping and transit time.

Occasionally, some products are on backorder or have a longer waiting period before they can ship. These products will ship as soon as they become available from the manufacturer. Products that are on backorder or are a special order are pre-paid at the time the order is placed — this helps guarantee that the manufacturer will fulfil the allocated backorder.

Many products come in various configurations, colours, and options. These items are classified as Special Order (Made to Order) and are not covered under our return policy.

Eligible merchandise purchased from Modernnest may be returned for a refund — excluding shipping and handling charges — within 5 days of receipt of the goods.

You must contact Modernnest to inform us that you would like to return an item. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of your right to take advantage of our return policy. Returned merchandise must be in original condition and in an unopened box. A 30% to 50% restocking fee will apply to all returned merchandise. Only certain products are eligible for a return authorisation — special orders are excluded.

To initiate a return, you must first contact Modernnest at [email protected] to request a Return Goods Authorisation (RGA) number before sending any merchandise back. Returns received without a valid RGA number will not be accepted and may be returned to sender at the customer's expense.

Once your RGA is approved, you will receive instructions on how and where to return the item. All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Special Orders — Made to Order or Custom Orders are not covered under the return policy. These products are custom made to your specification (size, colour, style, finish, fabric) or are products specially imported for you. For the purposes of this policy, "Custom Orders" applies to all products across the following brand lines, which are non-returnable and cannot be exchanged or returned:

Special Discounts — Extra discounted orders or products on sale are not covered under the return policy. This exclusion also applies to any merchandise purchased or won through a third-party site.
