The Tizio floor lamp by Artemide has fully adjustable counterbalanced arms and head in painted aluminum. The innovation of Tizio is its construction; arm spacer bars in chromed steel, counterweights in zinc alloy, anodized aluminum diffuser and a 12V transformer in the lamp base powers a halogen lamp through rods and buttons. Besides having a structural function, the rods carry electrical current without electric cables.
